Vinsmoke Sanji – The Charismatic Gentleman

Eiichiro Oda’s fictitious Vinsmoke Sanji, also referred to as “Black Leg” Sanji, appears in the One Piece series. Sanji, a native of the North Blue, was raised in the Vinsmoke family by his mother Vinsmoke Sora, and father Vinsmoke Judge, the ruler of the Germa Kingdom. He flees his oppressive father, who only viewed him as a soldier, and finds refuge in Baratie, where he learns to cook from “Red Leg” Zeff and picks up his fighting technique, which emphasizes the use of the legs in battle. Following the battle with Don Krieg, he is the fifth and fourth member to join Monkey D. Luffy’s pirate crew as a cook.

Sanji placed third in the three following Shōnen Jump One Piece popularity surveys (2002, 2006, 2009) after placing fourth in the inaugural poll from 1999. He received 970,286 votes to place fourth in the most recent poll, which was the first one to be conducted globally in 2021.

Creation Of Vinsmoke Sanji.

Early artwork reveals that Sanji’s original plan was to be a Naruto-like character with black hair and a gun, but that notion was abandoned. “Oda Reveals That Sanji Was Originally Supposed To Be Called ‘Naruto'” When developing Sanji, Oda was influenced by Mr. Pink, played by Steve Buscemi in Reservoir Dogs (1992).

Sanji is a tall, slim man who usually smokes a cigarette and wears a black suit. His blonde hair is shown covering his right eye prior to the time skip, while it covers his left eye following it.

Sanji wore a yellow shirt with a black number three on it and had his hair styled in the other direction before departing from his family. He additionally sported a yellow bandana, brown boots, and white jeans.

He began donning a white chef’s suit after abandoning his family while still a young child. During the time jump, Sanji develops a goatee, and concept art reveals that this was always the plan for him.

In contrast to his siblings Ichiji, Niji, Yonji, and Reiju, Sanji has eyebrows that are shaped like swirls with the tail end pointing in the opposite direction, toward his left side.

Sanji’s Personality.

Sanji did not, however, seek assistance because he had an abusive biological father as a child who ignored his screams for help. Until the Wano Arc, where he begs Nico Robin to save him from a female opponent, he never asks for assistance in the current-day series. This is because, after Luffy saves him from an arranged marriage during the Whole Cake Island Arc, he has a better sense of vulnerability and acceptance of himself.

Sanji is a good person who frequently risks his own safety to rescue the lives of others. He frequently characterizes his generous nature as merely chivalrous behavior toward ladies, but in reality, he routinely aids males as well. As demonstrated when Don Krieg sought to take over the Baratie during his debut storyline, he never denied somebody a meal regardless of their intentions because he once suffered from malnutrition among the extensive list of abuses inflicted upon him by his father.

He frequently acts alone during the series to perform a covert role that ultimately aids the crew and other allies in surviving. The Character’s Abilities.

Following Whole Cake Island, Sanji is given a Raid Suit by Germa 66, the clandestine group that runs Germa Kingdom. This outfit boosts his physical prowess and lets him blend in with his surroundings.

In addition to his martial prowess, Sanji is a skilled chef. He picked up cooking from Zeff on the Baratie and has developed quickness and dexterity with knives. He can infer the ingredients and duplicate the wedding cake on Whole Cake Island, demonstrating that he also has a keen sense of taste and smell.

Haki.

He has the ability to perceive people’s intentions and presence during the time skip, which is how he was able to avoid Katakuri’s jellybean bullet. He is also capable of using Armament Haki, which enables him to harden specific areas of his body and fight others who are using Logia.
