I’ve always thought that no one can not like anime. Since its appearance in the early 20th century, it has been loved by many people at the same time being rejected and hated by some. Anime is truly a product of East-West culture. There are many complexities hidden in it, making people unable to understand why the Japanese draw such strange animations and stories. It’s neither science nor art because it both mimics and deviates from other cultures and does not follow any clear principles. But I suspect that this was what made it so interesting for people of both sexes and age.
